The following provides an overview in each grade and in each subject as to the tools utilized in meting out the elements of the classical Christian curriculum. The classical Christian approach teaches each subject within a Christ-centered framework.  The classical “tools of learning” are employed in the classroom, which accelerate children’s acquisition of academic skills and comprehension.

Bible:   Genesis, Exodus and the Beginnings of the Works of God, Historical and Doctrinal Study

Arizona History:     Arizona--A Journey of Discovery; timeline, maps, field trips, literature classics, i.e. Call of the Canyon

Grammar, Composition:  Classical Roots - Vocabulary A, B, C; Literature: Great American Short Stories, Fair Weather, The Invisible Man, Fahrenheit 451, and others; Elements of Poetry

Mathematics: Student is placed in mathematics appropriate for growth each year. Math 87, Algebra 1/2, Algebra I, or other etc.

Science:   Space and Earth Science with Lab - Bob Jones Press, others

Classics:   Latin, Informal and Formal Logic, Study Skills for 6th Grade Students

Electives:

Fine Arts:   Art Studio, Brass Ensemble, Brass Handbell Ensemble

Service Arts:   Classroom Aide, Office Aide

Movement Arts:   Physical Education, Sport Teams-Archery, Golf, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer

Technology Arts:   Cyber-communications, Yearbook
